My name is Sandy Rai. I am a Mum of 2, a Communications and Media Studies Graduate. I have worked in various sectors including recruitment, events management and being involved in the Family business where I was dealing with everything from staff, accounts, marketing, administration. There’s no doubt, over the years that I have gained invaluable experience, but I wanted to do something that made a real difference
You can’t change the world; you can only change yourself. Beatrice Wood
Life is full of ups and downs. For me, over the years there have been many personal milestones and achievements, which I am grateful for. However, there have also been countless challenges and setbacks that have taught me some important life lessons and impacted my family life, health, and wellbeing.
I hit a milestone birthday (21 of course)! Things had to change, more importantly I had to change. It was now or never.
THE NEW ME
I started making the time to work on myself, paying particular attention to where I spent my time and energy. During this process, I became more self-aware of my thoughts, influences, strengths and weaknesses. Reflecting and practicing gratitude, became a part of my daily “routine”.
Having an understanding of myself on a deeper level gave me the confidence to better manage and react to the things that were going on around me. It also enabled me to change other aspects of my life that were no longer serving me.
Overcoming challenges and setbacks are a part of life, but that does not mean they define you.
When we go through tough times, the easiest option is to give up, be overcome with our limiting beliefs and spiral into bad habits.
It takes a lot of courage, resilience and strength to take small steps and figure out a way forward, so that we learn from the experience, become stronger and embrace any changes.
MY PURPOSE
Yes, I am a daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, friend etc but sometimes I would become so overwhelmed with the fast pace, stress and responsibilities that life brings and question, WHO AM I?
I asked myself some deep questions which really got me thinking. What am I really scared of? When did I last push the boundaries of my comfort zone? If I was told I was at the end of my life, what regrets would I have? How do I want to be remembered? What would I liked to have done more of?
By asking myself these hard-hitting questions, it was becoming obvious what I felt passionate about and was important to me.
I became a Certified Life Coach. I want to use my knowledge, techniques, and personal qualities to inspire, motivate, educate, and empower others to become the best version of themselves and live a happier and fulfilling life.
So, here I am…ready to hear your story, take you on a journey of self-discovery and be your authentic self.
It’s time to invest in yourself.
Just to bear in mind…
It can be overwhelming to reach out and find someone you can trust and talk to. You may find the most qualified and experienced coaches, but if you cannot connect with that person then it will impact your progress. Similarly, I may feel that I cannot offer the help and support you are looking for. That is why I offer a non-obligation 20-minute introduction call, where you get to meet me, ask questions, see if we have a “vibe” and can work together.
All The Best
